Leaked: Gorillaz – Some Kind of Nature (feat. Lou Reed)

See, that’s one of the benefits of being Damon Albarn, you can just pick up the phone and ask Lou Reed to sing on your new album. What’s it all about? Well, to begin with, a Plastic Beach, as practical as it might be (easy to wipe clean at the end of the day, not to mention durable) wouldn’t actually be that much fun. Especially if it’s that hard type of plastic, the kind that hurts when you fall on it.

Some kind of nature
Some kind of soul
Some kind of mixture
Some kind of gold
Some kind of majesty
Some chemical load

I’m pretty sure that’s what Lou’s getting at. See, Lou, being more of a grass kind of guy (he probably still remembers the sixties), is kinda questioning the whole idea behind the plastic beach, saying, “let’s at least TRY grass, and if it doesn’t work, fine, we’ll do the plastic thing.”

Enjoy it before it gets remixed beyond recognition.
