Remember that band that had a huge hit a few years ago with that song called ‘Children’? It might have soundtracked a video game you played at some point, or an ad for something fun and relevant. You know, they won a few Emmys or Oscars or something, probably fucked those models they sang about on Time to Pretend, looked kinda goofy on the red carpet and released a song a lotta people got really excited about/weren’t all that thrilled by a few weeks back (it was ‘too weird’/'hard to hum’)?
Well, Letters have no Arms is pleased to present you with the opening track of their upcoming album ‘ Congratulations’.

Sorry people, but the Sheriff did ask politely, so we’ll have to remove the track. You can still play it from Hype Machine if you like it though (I changed the link to HM)
See that blank space down there? Yeah, right under this post. Tell us how you feel about MGMT 2.0. Will you put this on a mixtape for that girl/boy you just met? Will/can you hum along to it? Does it make you want to dance/eat/jump/form a band? Is it in fact ‘working’?
Yep, we want to know how YOU feel.
Oh, and: Have some money you don’t know how to spend? How about pre-ordering ‘Congratulations’ by clicking on the pretty picture below?

imo, this album is a horrific piece of shit. a train wreck that is thoroughly unenjoyable. my best guess is that the sony people reminded these guys that they had a deadline and so they got wasted on mushrooms and threw a bunch of shit together at the last minute. a huge “fuck you” to everyone. don’t buy!
The song you’re referring to from a few years ago is called “Kids” not “Children.” Close, but no cigar.
@Donna: guess my (attempt at) humour was a little too subtle
and dude, you also said they won Oscars – what’s up with that? Oscars are for MOVIES, man.
mhmm … is there something called sense of humor?
if there IS such a thing, I know the Web Sheriff has one
