There are in fact probably approximately 125+ good reasons (just cast your eye on the tags below) to be excited about Primavera Sound 2010, and if you’ve already bought a ticket (or are still planning to) you’ll probably have your own personal handful. I’ll leave you with 14 (below), one for every day until Primavera Sound 2010 kicks off in exactly two weeks time.
I don’t know about you, but excited doesn’t even begin to describe it for me. The lineup truly looks is as if the organisers carefully studied and then booked my last.fm top played bands. Broken Social Scene! Pavement! The Black Lips! Shellac! No Age! Los Campesinos! Primavera Sound 2010′s lineup, I’m sure you’ll agree, truly is the stuff of dreams, and for that, dear organisers, we salute you.
Eliza and I are already flying over to Barcelona on the 22nd, to find an apartment. We’ll mostly be looking at places in Gràcia, so if you see two slightly bewildered looking people walking around with a map, a dictionary, a notebook and a pen, that’ll likely be us.
Tickets are still available from here, and cost € 180. The timetable has also just been released; you can download it and start puzzling out your own personal PS2010 (I can already reveal that you’ll have to choose between The Drums, Grizzly Bear, and The Antlers…). Oh yeah, don’t forget all the additional bands playing in and around the city!
We here at Letters have no Arms have put together a selection of the very finest songs you may well hear if you were to find yourself at Primavera Sound in two weeks time, titled…

Japandroids – Young Hearts Spark Fire

Mission Of Burma – That’s When I Reach For My Revolver

The Almighty Defenders – Bow Down and Die
