To which we would probably reply, ‘good question!’ and ‘thanks for asking!’
Well, we’ve moved. Yep. We are now ex-Athens residents and current Barcelona residents.
It’s been a crazy few weeks… saying goodbye to all our friends, emptying a house, leaving a key behind and getting on a plane…
We’ve been here a little over a week now and are slowly getting settled. We are now the proud owners of a new fridge, a bed, two chairs, one bicycle, five plants and two standing fans. And as of today a desk (I’ve been working from a pile of suitcases and cardboard boxes so I’m particularly happy about that). We’ve discovered the local World Food Store, a bagel place just up the street, a little cafe called Le Journal and a good place to buy plants. Oh, and our postwoman looks like she’s been pulled directly from an Almodovar film.
Obviously there will be plenty more to write about it, pictures to post etc in upcoming weeks and months. We’ll also be doing some travelling around over the next few months, and attending a few rather special concerts (more on that tomorrow) and a big festival in England at the end of August…
So yeah, watch this space!
